Today's eyeballs are at the Allianz stadium in Turin, Italy, where Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon is holding a press conference in which he is expected to announce his retirement.

Buffon, 40, led Juventus to the Serie A title for the seventh time in a row and the Italian Cup for the fourth time in a row.
The former Parma goalkeeper can take part in his 640th league match, which may be his last appearance in the stadiums, in Juventus' last league game against Hellas Verona on Sunday.
"There will never be another Gigi," Buffon's agent, Filfano Martina, told Italian media, referring to Buffon.

"I can not add anything else because he will reveal what he will do to the media," Martina said.

Buffon is due to appear before the media at a press conference at 9:30 GMT.

Buffon faces a suspension from the European Football Confederation after comments he made against English referee Michael Oliver, who was sent off in the Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid, which ended with the loss of Juventus.

"Sit in the stands with your wife and kids and have your drink with potato chips," Buffon said of Oliver.

Buffon is Italy's most active player in international matches with 176 games, and is likely to be the farewell match on June 4 in a friendly against the Netherlands.

Buffon has played 1050 games, including nine Serie A titles, five Italian Cups, one Europa League and one World Cup.
